SigmaTel, Inc. (NASDAQ:SGTL) today announced that it is participating in
Embedded Alley (EA) Solutions’ Silicon Vendor
Partner Program in order to provide an embedded Linux solution on
SigmaTel’s STMP3700 product family and next
generation processor families. With the addition of the Platform
Optimized Embedded Linux SDK from EA Solutions, SigmaTel is now able to
capture Linux based product designs.

The EA SVPP provides a tailored embedded Linux solution containing the
latest open source software specifically ported to the STMP3700 family
of processors and is now available from SigmaTel.
