Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc. Reports Sales Results for June and Second Quarter 2006

GREER, S.C., June 30  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:RYAN) today reported sales results for the 4-week period ("June") and the three-months ("2nd Quarter") ending June 28, 2006.  Average weekly sales for all stores decreased by 2.5% for the month and by 0.5% for the quarter.  Same-store sales decreased by 3.3% for the month and by 1.7% for the quarter.  Other details follow:
