PORTLAND, Ore. Sept. 2  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S. consumer spending on
combined DVD/VHS rentals was down (-) 4.4% from the previous week.

Revenue for the week was down (-) 16.4% from the same week last year.

Taking Lives held at #1 in its second week in the market. Fox's teen comedy
romance The Girl Next Door debuted at #2, as the Pierce Brosnan and Julianne
Moore adult comedy romance Laws Of Attraction placed fourth.
