Plug Power Inc. Announces $23.5 Million Registered Direct Offering With Odey Asset Management

Plug Power Inc. (Nasdaq: PLUG), a leader in providing energy solutions that change the way the world moves, has today announced that it has agreed to sell 10,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $2.35 per share, for gross proceeds of $23,500,000. The shares were offered and are expected to be sold to an existing single shareholder, Odey Asset Management, in a registered direct offering conducted without an underwriter or placement agent. The net proceeds from the offering, after deducting estimated offering expenses, will be approximately $23.5 million. The offering is expected to close on or about March 20, 2019.

Plug Power plans to use the net proceeds of the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.
