OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of
specialized electronic products for critical applications in the
Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that it has entered
into a new credit facility arranged by Wachovia Bank for approximately
$90 million replacing the Company’s previous
$67 million domestic credit facility. The new credit facility is
composed of an approximate $45 million term loan and an approximate $45
million revolving line of credit with the ability to increase the
overall facility to $100 million.
In addition to the new facility, several of the Company’s
foreign subsidiaries maintain independent bank lines-of-credit,
denominated in local currencies. Availability of borrowings is
determined by certain calculations based on customary factors.
