Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On May 18, 2016, Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. announced positive top-line results from its Phase 2b clinical trial, designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of its oral insulin capsule ORMD-0801 in patients with type 2 diabetes. The double blind, 28 day, randomized trial of 180 patients was conducted at 33 clinical sites in the United States under a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Investigational New Drug (IND) protocol. The trial’s primary objective, a significant reduction of weighted mean night-time glucose, was successfully achieved.
