BioReference Laboratories Expands Its Major League Sports Relationships with Addition of Major League Baseball

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J., April 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- BioReference Laboratories, Inc., an OPKO Health company (NASDAQ:OPK), today announced a COVID-19 testing agreement for players and staff, stadium employees and league staff for the 2021 Major League Baseball (MLB) season.

Under the agreement with MLB, BioReference will provide on-site rapid PCR point-of-care COVID-19 testing to all 30 MLB teams, leveraging Mesa Biotech's Accula System. Testing begins today, April 1, 2021 coinciding with Opening Day and will continue throughout the season.
