Navient proudly earns 100 percent in 2018 Corporate Equality Index

Navient (Nasdaq:NAVI) is among the best companies for adopting LGBTQ-friendly policies and practices, according to the nation’s largest advocacy group representing lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people. Navient received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

The 2018 CEI rated more than 5,000 businesses and evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, full parity partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, educational programs and public engagement to support the LGBTQ community.

Navient’s efforts to satisfy all CEI criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
