Dutch cable company Ziggo NV (ZIGGO.AE) and U.S. company Liberty Global PLC said Monday they are making progress on preparations for Liberty's offer to buy Ziggo.
Liberty Global expects to submit a request for review and approval of the offer memorandum to the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets shortly it said, but in any event by April 21.
The two companies announced plans for a EUR6.9 billion ($9.47 billion) offer by Liberty Global for Ziggo on Jan. 27.
