Investors Title Company Declares Quarterly Dividend

J. Allen Fine, Chairman of the Board of Investors Title
Company (NASDAQ: ITIC), announced today that the Company's Board of
Directors has declared a cash dividend of $.04 per share to
shareholders of record September 1, 2005, payable September 15, 2005.
   Investors Title Company is a publicly-held North Carolina company
whose stock is traded on the NASDAQ National Market (Symbol: ITIC).
   Investors Title Company is engaged in the business of issuing and
underwriting title insurance policies. Title insurance is typically
sold when real estate is purchased and upon refinancing of loans
secured by real estate. Premiums are written through 29 branch offices
and a network of agents in 23 states and the District of Columbia. The
Company also provides services in connection with tax-free exchanges
of like-kind property as well as investment management services to
individuals, trusts, foundations and businesses.
