SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 18, 2014) - Infinera (NASDAQ: INFN), provider of Intelligent Transport Networks™, was named a Light Reading's 2014 Leading Lights Award winner in the Public Company of the Year category yesterday. The award is presented annually to recognize publicly listed companies that stand out from competitors, innovate constantly, and make their customers and employees happy.

The Leading Lights program focuses on next-generation communications technology, applications, and services, and recognizes the leading companies across the industry. The 2014 Light Reading Leading Lights Award marks the 10th anniversary of a program that keeps a finger on the pulse of innovation in the telecom sector.
