Canoo entered into a securities purchase agreement with YA II PN regarding the issuance and sale by the company of convertible debentures.
The electric car maker said the agreement, which took place Wednesday, included the sale of its convertible debentures amounted to an aggregate principal amount of $27.9 million, according to a regulatory filing. In return, the company granted YA II PN an option to purchase additional convertible debentures in an aggregate principal amount of up to $53.1 million, subject to terms and conditions.
