Glowpoint Announces Availability of Sony's ''Instant Video Everywhere'' Mobile Service

  IVE Mobile Designed for Anytime, Anywhere Video Communications for

   Glowpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOW), the world's leading

today announced the availability of Sony's "Instant Video Everywhere,"
or IVE, Mobile service powered by GlowPoint. IVE Mobile (pronounced
"ivy"), the most recent product in the suite of comprehensive IP-based
video communications solutions introduced earlier this month by Sony
and GlowPoint, can be downloaded directly from www.sonyive.com.
   The video communications market, which has been estimated to grow
to $10 billion worldwide by 2007, is expected to be fueled by the
availability of lower-priced, flexible solutions that greatly expand
the use of video as a standard business communications tool. To take
advantage of this increased demand, Sony's IVE Mobile service is
available through Sony Electronics and its authorized
videoconferencing resellers for as low as $35 per month with an annual
subscription from GlowPoint. Credit card billing is also available.
   The new IVE Mobile service can be used virtually anywhere there is
broadband access and is designed to meet the video communications
needs of telecommuters, home office workers and business travelers in
the U.S. and around the world. Announced on June 1 and showcased last
week for the first time at the 2005 Infocomm exhibit in Las Vegas,
Sony's IVE Mobile solution has already received thousands of
pre-release registration requests from U.S. and international
locations. Additionally, pre-release "beta" customers have already
been migrated to paying subscribers.

for IVE Business customers using Sony PCS-TL50 desktop
videoconferencing systems. The combined solution will provide
customers the ability to un-dock their laptop computer and, using
innovative "Follow Me" video technology, be contacted at the same
10-digit Direct Dial Video Number they use at their desk while
traveling away from the office.
