Force Protection, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRPT) today announced that it has
received a modification under contract M67854-06-C-5162 from Marine
Corps Systems Command for the delivery of 24 additional Cougar Mastiffs
to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence. The undefinitized contract
modification carries a dollar value not to exceed $15 million and
includes vehicles and spare parts. The vehicles are scheduled for
delivery in 2009.
