FOX News Channel (FNC) has re-signed National Correspondent Bryan Llenas to a new multiyear deal, announced Jay Wallace, President & Executive Editor, FOX News Media. Llenas will continue to cover national breaking news based out of New York City.

In making the announcement Wallace said, “Bryan has done excellent, on-the-ground reporting during numerous breaking news situations and we look forward to his continued work with FOX News for years to come.”

Llenas added, “After nearly a decade at FOX News Channel, I think of my esteemed colleagues as family and I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue my tenure at the best news organization in the country. Being able to report on critical breaking news stories that matter to our viewers is something I am very passionate about and I’m lucky to also call it my job.”

After joining the network in 2010, Llenas began his career with FNC as a reporter for FOX News Latino and transitioned to his role as FNC correspondent in 2013. Throughout this past year, Llenas offered extensive reporting on a number of the nation’s most pressing headlines. Most recently, he served as the lead reporter covering the case of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein as the story unfolded and resulted in Epstein’s suicide. Additionally, Llenas covered the historical political protests live on the ground from Puerto Rico as citizens mobilized in Old San Juan demanding the ouster of Governor Ricardo Rosselló. Over the summer, Llenas covered the highly anticipated trial of Mexican drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman as he was found guilty on all counts and sentenced to life in prison.

Previously, Llenas reported on various breaking news events for the network, including the guilty verdict from the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial in Pennsylvania, the indictment against New York Congressman Chris Collins (R-NY), and the family separation crisis at the U.S./Mexico border in 2018. In 2017, Llenas covered Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria, traveling to Puerto Rico, six months after the powerful storm to update viewers on the recovery efforts. In addition, he also became the first non-French journalist to fly with the precision aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force, Patrouille de France.

During the 2016 election season, Llenas contributed to numerous reports, including the Latino vote from both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention. He also was part of the team covering President Donald Trump’s transition to the White House, reporting from Bedminster, New Jersey and Trump Tower in New York. Throughout his tenure at FNC, Llenas has covered a wide array of stories, including the 2016 terror bombings in Manhattan, the 2014 World Cup live from Brazil, the inauguration of Pope Francis live from Rome and the Pope’s subsequent visit to the U.S.

As a member of the inaugural launch team that developed FOX News Latino, Llenas has covered key issues including immigration, politics and news affecting the Hispanic community. Named one of the Top 50 Latino voices to follow on Twitter, Llenas received a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from the University of Miami.
