Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS), a subsidiary of Forward Industries (NASDAQ: FORD), today announced that it was named a top workplace on Long Island by Newsday.  Based in Hauppauge, IPS is an award-winning global product design and development firm that specializes in Internet of Things (IoT) products.

IPS was among the companies honored at a celebration dinner on Oct. 24, for companies that received this recognition.  Out of 2,000 award applicants, IPS was named 21st in the small companies category (50-149 employees).  The honorees were selected from among many submissions, from organizations in Nassau and Suffolk counties, including employers in public and private companies, for profit and not-for-profit organizations as well as governmental organizations.

“We are thrilled to be selected as one of the top workplaces on Long Island, recognizing our commitment to our employees and to realizing a great place to work. Fundamental is recognition and appreciation for the incredible work by our team every day as well as quality-of-life practices that include flexible remote work and schedule arrangements, bonus and tuition assistance plans and, of course, frequent food,” said Mitch Maiman, president and co-founder of IPS. “We are fortunate to have some of the top product designers and engineers in the country as part of our team, helping us to design and deliver truly innovative products for our customers.”

Terry Wise, CEO and Chairman of Forward Industries remarked, “We are very pleased with IPS for receiving this prestigious award. It is an excellent endorsement of Forward’s commitment to our people and how much we value them.”

Newsday’s top workplaces list was compiled based on the results of survey conducted by consulting firm Energage, to identify workplaces on Long Island where employees feel their work is appreciated, where they identify with the company’s goals and vision, and where they have confidence in their leadership, among other factors.  Energage anonymously polled more than 24,000 employees at 116 Long Island employers, on everything from pay and benefits to leadership and culture.
