Other Events

On November 21, 2019, ESSA Bancorp, Inc. announced that it would make a payment of a cash dividend of $0.11 per share of common stock. This dividend represents an increase of $0.01 per share, or 10%, over the dividend paid in the previous quarter and will be paid to stockholders of record as of December 16, 2019, payable on December 30, 2019. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
