Janette S. Shaw Joins EagleBank's Marketing Team

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 4  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Janette Shaw has joined EagleBank (NASDAQ:EGBN) as Vice President, Marketing/Advertising Manager. She comes to EagleBank from Cardinal Bank, McLean, VA, where she served as Director of Marketing for three years.  Prior to Cardinal, Shaw served as VP of Advertising and Public Relations for Farmers & Mechanics Bank (now Mercantile) in Frederick, MD, for five years.

Shaw began her marketing communications career at West & Brady Advertising in Bethesda, Maryland, working with a variety of clients, including several financial organizations.  She spent over 12 years as VP/Marketing Director of Goldome Savings Bank, the Florida subsidiary of Goldome Bank, which was headquartered in Buffalo, NY.  Prior to that, Shaw managed marketing and advertising for Planters Bank in Rocky Mount, NC, which became Centura Bank, then Royal Bank of Canada.  Shaw grew up in Montgomery County, MD, and resides in Kensington.
