Harold Brazil Elected to EagleBank Board of Directors

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ EagleBank (NASDAQ:EGBN) has announced the appointment of Harold Brazil to the EagleBank Board of Directors.  Mr. Brazil is principal of Harold Brazil & Associates, PC.

His impressive legal and legislative background includes:  District of Columbia City Council from 1991 to 2004, Councilman At-Large; and the law firm of Koonz, McKenney, Johnson, Depaolis & Lightfoot from 1992 to 2001, Partner. He served as Director of Government Affairs (DC and Federal) for Potomac Electric Power Company from 1984 to 1990; was Counsel to U.S. Senator John Glenn from 1980 to 1984; and served as Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1977 to 1980.  Going further back, Brazil began his career as a law clerk for Chief Judge Robert Duncan, United States Court of Military Appeals, and was an Attorney for the United States Department of Energy from 1974 to 1977.
