EagleBank and County Organizations to Present Business Conference



BETHESDA, Md., May 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EagleBank , a Bethesda-based
business community bank, is partnering with local business organizations to
present "Taking Your Business to the Next Level" on May 27, 2004 from 8:30 a.m.
until 4:00 p.m. at the Silver Spring Holiday Inn.

The full-day conference is being organized by EagleBank, The Montgomery County
Department of Economic Development, The Greater Silver Spring Chamber of
Commerce, The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and the Maryland Small
Business Development Center.  In addition to nine individual sessions on topics
such as marketing, sales, developing a business plan, securing financing, and
Small Business Administration programs and financing, key speakers for the
general session and lunch include Aris Melissaratos, Secretary of the Maryland
Department of Business and Economic Development, Eric Seleznow, Director of
Workforce Investment Services, Montgomery Works, and Joseph Loddo, District
Director, Washington Metropolitan Area District Office of the Small Business
Administration.
