BETHESDA, Md., July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGBN), the parent company of EagleBank, today announced the declaration of its quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.06 per share on the post-split shares. The company paid a 1.3 for 1 stock split in the form of a 30% stock dividend on July 5, 2006. The cash dividend will be payable on September 29, 2006 to shareholders of record on September 12, 2006. This would result in an increase of 11.42% over the prior quarter cash dividend paid.
