Eagle Bancorp, Inc. Announces 10% Stock Dividend

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 9  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGBN), the parent company of EagleBank, today announced the declaration of a 10% stock dividend. The stock dividend will be payable on October 1, 2008, to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 18, 2008.

The Company had previously announced plans for such a dividend, which is being declared at this time so as to include the former shareholders of Fidelity & Trust Financial Corporation. F&T was merged into Eagle Bancorp on August 31, 2008.
