Encore Bancshares, Inc. and Cadence Bancorp, LLC Announce Closing Date of July 2, 2012

Encore Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq:EBTX) and Cadence Bancorp, LLC announced today that a closing date of July 2, 2012 has been set for the acquisition of Encore Bancshares, Inc. through the merger of Encore with and into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cadence Bancorp, LLC. Completion of the merger remains subject to customary closing conditions.
