Attached to this report on Form 6-K as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the press release issued by Castor Maritime Inc. (the “Company”) on February 11, 2021, announcing that the Company, through two separate wholly-owned subsidiaries, entered into agreements to purchase two 2005 Korean built Aframax LR2 tankers with time charters attached for an aggregate purchase price of $27.2 million from an unaffiliated third party.
