CXO of the Future -- 793 Applicants From 117 Universities for Two Positions

Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited (HKBN), a wholly owned subsidiary of City Telecom (H.K.) Ltd. ("City Telecom") (HKSE:1137) (Nasdaq:CTEL) today announced, as of the end of Stage 1 application process for our Global Search for "CXO of the Future", we have received 793 applicants from 117 universities, for which we intend to offer two positions.

Our "CXO of the Future" is our elite Management Trainee program designed to nurture our future generation of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Talent Officer, Chief Technology Officer, etc. The Global Search process takes 2-3 months and involves five stages:

1. 10 April: Open Applications

2. 14-24 April: Written Tests

400 shortlist

3. 3-4 May: Group Interview

100 shortlist

4. 1-2 June: 2-Day Outward Bound Live-in with attendance by Chairman and current CXOs

12 shortlist 

5. 3 June: Final Board Room Interview by Chairman and current CXOs 

Expect to offer 2 positions
