Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 6, 2025, Civista Bancshares, Inc. issued a press release announcing it plans to release fourth quarter 2024 financial results prior to market open on January 30, 2025. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
