Custom Branded Networks Inc. Announces a Special Meeting of Its
Shareholders 


NEW YORK, Dec. 1  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Custom Branded Networks, Inc.
(OTC:CBNK) (BULLETIN BOARD: CBNK)  announced today that its board of directors
has called a special meeting of its shareholders to change the name of the
corporation to Novastar Resources Ltd. which will better reflect the direction
upon which the corporation has now embarked.  The company also plans to
increase the authorized capital stock of the corporation.  The increase in
authorized capital will allow management to search out projects and/or assets
in the energy and resource sector which the corporation can acquire by issuing
equity capital.  The corporation is actively seeking potential acquisition
targets at this time.  Upon approval of an increase in equity capital, the
corporation will also be able to pay a previously announced stock dividend. We
plan for all proper notices to be given so the meeting can be held prior to
year's end.

Proxy materials to be distributed to the shareholders of the corporation in
connection with the meeting have been submitted to and are being reviewed by
the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.  Upon completion of the
Commission's review of the proxy materials, the date of the meeting will be set
and the proxy materials, including a notice of the meeting, will be mailed to
all shareholders.
