Bassett Furniture Donates Cribs for Hurricane Victims

Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSET), a leading manufacturer and marketer of high quality home furnishings, today announced it would donate 200 cribs to four organizations in the Houston area which were recently devastated by floods and hurricane damage.

The organizations include:  Montgomery Women’s Center (Spring/Woodlands/Conroe), KISD Foundation (Katy), Gabriel Project (Midtown) and Bay Area Turning Point (Friendswood).

"This hurricane season has been particularly harsh in the United States and devastating to our friends and neighbors in Houston,” said David Baker, Bassett’s senior vice president of corporate retail.  “Families are struggling and this donation will help support individual families in need as they take their first steps on the road to recovery."
