Dynamic Materials Confirms Transfer to the Nasdaq National Market

BOULDER, Colo., May 12  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamic Materials Corporation ("DMC") (NASDAQ:BOOM) confirmed today that its stock has moved to The Nasdaq National Market.  A headline disseminated by a third party data retrieval service to various news outlets incorrectly suggested that DMC's stock has been delisted.  In fact, DMC filed a Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 11, 2006, to report that its stock listing had been transferred from The Nasdaq Capital Market to The Nasdaq National Market. DMC has notified the third party data retrieval service and requested that it correct the error and any misimpression it may have caused.
