BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. (NASDAQ:BJRI) is celebrating its world-famous Pizookie® dessert during the month of October. They are kicking off with a sweet offer Tuesday, October 9, which BJ’s is deeming Free Pizookie® Day, when guests will receive a Free Pizookie® with a minimum $9.95 food purchase.

The celebration continues the rest of the month with $3 Pizookies®, Wednesday, October 10 through Wednesday, October 31, with no minimum purchase required. That’s cutting the regular price of a Pizookie® in more than half!

“BJ’s Pizookies® are unlike any other,” said Greg Trojan, Chief Executive Officer of BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. “In fact, we believe that you haven’t lived until you try one, which is why we want to thank our guests and invite everyone to try this life-changing dessert.”

While no one can deny a BJ’s Pizookie® is simply delicious, how to actually pronounce the dessert continues to be an ongoing debate. But whether pronounced Puh-zook-e, Pa-zook-e, Piz-ookie, or the correct pronunciation of PIZ-ook-e, the dessert is always a hot-out-of-the-oven cookie served in its own deep dish pan and topped with ice cream.

Each dessert is baked- to-order in a variety of flavors, including: Chocolate Chunk, Cookies ‘N’ Cream, Salted Caramel, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Triple Chocolate, Peanut Butter, BJ’s Peanut Butter S’mores or Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip.
