TheMarkets.com Hires XBRL Expert Robert Krugman as Vice President of Estimates

NEW YORK, Nov. 10  /PRNewswire/ -- TheMarkets.com, a leading provider of research, estimates and workflow solutions to the buy-side, announced today that it has added to its leadership team by hiring Robert Krugman as Vice President of Estimates, a position in which he will be charged with developing and delivering estimates products that maximize the value of estimates data for the over 2000 institutional client firms of TheMarkets.com.

Krugman brings more than 15 years of experience in technical and product development strategy in the finance industry, most recently in positions that leveraged his expertise in XBRL tagging technologies.  Prior to joining TheMarkets.com, Krugman was the Senior Vice President of Product Development at Edgar Online, where he spearheaded the development and launch of the award-winning suite of XBRL-based I-Metrix products.  Previously, he was a consultant with Avenue A | Razorfish.  Krugman is also a frequent speaker at industry events on the use of XBRL to automate financial data delivery.
