LONDON--Daetwyler Holding AG (DAE.EB) said Thursday its offer for Premier Farnell PLC (PFL.LN), maker of the $5 Raspberry Pi computer, is final and will lapse on Aug. 21.
Switzerland's Daetwyler agreed to buy the British company in June for 615 million pounds ($803.5 million), but this was subsequently trumped by a higher offer from U.S. electronics company Avnet Inc. (AVT) last month.
