Avnet Inc. expects higher sales and a stronger U.S. dollar against the euro and the British pound in the three months ending April 2.
On its guidance:
The global technology distributor and solutions provider expects third-quarter sales of $5.4 billion to $5.8 billion, assuming the euro averages $1.13, down from $1.20 in the same quarter a year ago, and the pound averages $1.36, down from $1.38.
Sales totaled $4.92 billion in the quarter ended April 3, 2021.
