On September 12, 2018, Akari Therapeutics, Plc, (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing new preclinical rheumatoid arthritis data and new clinical data in patients with Bullous Pemphigoid, highlighting potential advantages of Coversin’s bifunctional activity inhibiting both the complement and leukotriene inflammatory pathways.
