The South African Rand firmed against the U.S. dollar in European trading on Monday, as the latter fell across the board, while higher oil prices and global stocks rally on reducing fears over a potential British exit from the European Union also aided.
Reversing from an early low of 15.0932 against the greenback, the rand climbed to a 10-day high of 14.8551. The rand is likely to find resistance around the 13.5 region. The pair finished Friday's trading at 15.1130.
