After the release of the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for September at 10:00 am ET Friday, the greenback changed little against its major counterparts.

The greenback was trading at 108.07 against the yen, 0.9925 against the franc, 1.0935 against the euro and 1.2323 against the pound around 10:03 am ET.
