The pound reversed from an early high of 1.2684 against the franc, edging down to 1.2621.
The pound edged down to a session's low of 0.8611 against the euro, coming off from its previous high of 0.8563.
The pound dropped to 131.35 against the yen, from its previous session's high of 132.27.
The next possible support for the pound may be found around 130.00 against the yen, 1.25 against the Swiss franc, 1.28 against the greenback and 0.88 against the euro.
