The pound slipped to a 2-day low of 1.5013 versus the franc, compared to yesterday's closing value of 1.5116.
The pound pared gains to 1.5581 against the greenback and 0.7028 against the euro, from its previous highs of 1.5614 and 0.7002, respectively.
The pound is likely to find support around 1.55 against the greenback, 0.71 against the euro and 1.495 against the franc.
