At 4.00 am ET Tuesday, IHS Markit has released euro area preliminary composite PMI data. The euro traded mixed against its major rivals after the data. While it rose against the pound and the franc, it changed little against the yen and the greenback.
The euro was trading at 129.17 against the yen, 1.1269 against the greenback, 0.8419 against the pound and 1.0492 against the franc around 4:05 am ET.
