At 4:30 am ET Wednesday, U.K. CIPS/Markit construction PMI has been released. The pound traded mixed against its major rivals after the data. While the pound changed little against the euro, it dropped further against the rest of major currencies.

The pound was trading at 1.4498 against the greenback, 155.14 against the yen, 1.3858 against the franc and 0.7920 against the euro around 4:34 am ET.
