PARIS--French construction material maker Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA (SGO.FR) Tuesday said it agreed to sell its U.S. retailer Norandex to ABC Supply Co. for an undisclosed amount.
The French company said the operation is part of an effort to sell construction material retailing assets and strengthen its business units in Europe and Brazil, instead.
Saint-Gobain expects the operation, which still requires approval from U.S. anti-trust regulators, to close in the fourth quarter.
