The appointment is effective immediately. Nicholas Paul Ansell, aged 43, is a Chartered Accountant and has been a prominent figure within the financial services industry for several years. He was Chief Executive of DBS Financial Management, co-founder of IFA Network Limited, Board member of the SEC Group (when it acquired IFA Network), and has been a member of the AIFA Council and the FSA Training Advisory Panel. He joined Misys in May 2000 through the acquisition of i.e. group plc and served on the boards of Misys IFA services and the Misys Financial Services Division. Prior to establishing IFA Network Limited in 1992, he was at KPMG for 8 years. The appointment will see him focusing on the development of Prestbury's IFA division and the building of new business opportunities throughout the Group.
