International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on Thursday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts edged up 0.4% to 131.70. The European index ticked up 0.5% to 122.94. The Asian index rose 0.5% to 159.59. The Latin American index slipped 0.1% to 183.39, while the emerging-markets index lost 0.1% to 276.24.
ArcelorMittal SA was among those whose ADRs traded actively.
The steelmaker edged down 0.1% after the company further cut its production in Europe after its Polish subsidiary said it would idle one of its two blast furnaces.
Aircraft manufacturer Embraer SA rose 0.8% after United Airlines Holdings Inc. said it is making a $15 million investment in Eve Air Mobility, a company backed by Embraer.
