PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--Le fabricant de membranes cryogéniques pour le transport du gaz naturel liquéfié Gaztransport et Technigaz (GTT) a annoncé mardi avoir remporté deux commandes pour la conception des cuves de deux nouveaux méthaniers, qui seront construits pour le compte d'un armateur japonais.
Ces commandes ont été reçues en 2023, a précisé la société dans un communiqué.
Dans le détail, le premier méthanier sera construit par le chantier naval Hanwha Ocean et devrait être livré au cours du troisième trimestre 2027. Pour sa part, le second méthanier sera réalisé par le chantier naval Samsung Heavy Industries et sa livraison devrait intervenir lors du troisième trimestre 2026.
Ces deux navires offriront chacun une capacité totale de 174.000 mètres cubes, a indiqué GTT.
