PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--L'opérateur satellitaire Eutelsat a annoncé lundi que ses actionnaires étaient convoqués le 28 septembre pour une assemblée générale extraordinaire afin de se prononcer sur le proget d'acquisition du fournisseur britannique d'accès à Internet à haut débit OneWeb.
Le projet, annoncé en juillet 2022, prévoit que la transaction soit structurée comme un apport, par les actionnaires de OneWeb, de leur participation dans la société britannique à Eutelsat, en échange d'actions Eutelsat nouvellement émises. A l'issue de l'opération, les actionnaires d'Eutelsat et de OneWeb détiendraient chacun 50% des actions du nouvel ensemble.
