PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--Un groupe d'acteurs européens du spatial et des télécommunications ont formé un partenariat afin de répondre à l'appel d'offres de la Commission européenne concernant la future constellation européenne de satellites IRIS2.
Le consortium sera dirigé par Airbus, Eutelsat, Hispasat, SES et Thales Alenia Space, ont annoncé mardi les partenaires dans un communiqué commun.
Le consortium s'appuiera également sur une équipe comprenant Deutsche Telekom, OHB, Orange, Hisdesat, Telespazio et Thales.
Nouveau programme spatial phare de l'Union européenne, IRIS2 vise à fournir aux gouvernements, aux entreprises et aux citoyens européens une nouvelle infrastructure de communication sécurisée.
