TRADING UPDATE
Datamonitor plc announces that as at the end of September trading is well ahead
of plan with revenue for the nine months to 30th September of #26.6m (2002:
#23.0m).
With revenue ahead of plan and costs continuing to be controlled tightly, the
Board expects profit before tax for the year ended 31st December 2003 to be
significantly ahead of market expectations.
Commenting on the above Mike Danson, Chief Executive, said:
"Datamonitor continues to make good progress. The revenue and sales growth is
particularly pleasing given that it has been achieved in a period of substantial
reorganisation of the sales and marketing operations and changes to strengthen
the product portfolio."
