Cattles announces that it has completed an issue of #350m 6.875% Bonds due 2014.
The new issue was priced to yield a margin of 170 basis points over the yield of
the 10 year UK benchmark Gilt.

The proceeds of the issue, which will be received by end December, will be used
initially to repay short term bank debt and to provide working capital for
further organic economic expansion.

HSBC acted as lead manager and bookrunner on the issue. Barclays acted as
co-manager.

Director of Treasury and Risk Management, Mark Collins today commented:

"We are delighted with the support shown by both existing bond holders and new
investors for this issue which is our first in the bond market since our debut
issue in 1999."

Cattles also confirms that current trading for the year to date is in line with
expectations.
