RNS Number:8626O Bolton Group (International) Ld 20 August 2003 DISPOSAL OF SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES Bolton Group (International) Limited (the "Group") announces the disposal of two of its subsidiary companies, Urania Securities Ltd and Bolton Group Plc, to Hill Finance Ltd for a consideration of #160,000. Urania Securities Ltd has experienced difficulty in letting its commercial office property, the market for this space having diminished dramatically in the past 12 months. After losing its major tenant in March 2002, it suffered substantial losses and the property has continued to be a drain on the Group's resources. Bolton Group Plc has accumulated losses over recent years and the Board believes that it is unlikely to provide any benefit to the Group in the future. The Board of Bolton Group (International) Limited has actively been seeking to diversify into new areas, offering greater potential growth. The disposal of these two subsidiary companies removes ongoing losses and liabilities from the Group's balance sheet, to provide a leaner and more focused base from which to attract new investment and to fulfil the Board's ongoing strategy. For further information, please contact: Bolton Group (International) Limited Tel: 020 7499 7922 Peter Derby, Chairman This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END DISPUUMPRUPWUBU
