                   ACQUISITION OF SEVEN INVESTMENT PROPERTIES

                                  FOR #860,000



Bolton Group (International) Limited (the "Bolton Group"), the real estate
holding and development group, announces that its wholly owned subsidiary,
Bluekirk Limited, has exchanged contracts for the acquisition of seven
residential investment properties in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China (the "
Investment Properties") for a total cash consideration of #860,000.  Completion
is expected on or before 31 August 2003.


These Investment Properties have an aggregate annual rental income of #38,800
and an annual yield of 4.51%.


Jack Law, Deputy Chairman of Bolton Group, said:  "The Board has decided to
invest in these properties because the potential for capital appreciation is
higher in Hong Kong and China than in the UK."
